Ben Reitman Award

Want to have your voice heard in San Diego? If you are an emerging writer who has not yet published a volume of poetry, fiction, or non-fiction of up to 200 pages with a commercial or non-profit press, please submit 3-5 poems, a story or sample chapter of 20 pages or less with a check for $25 made out to “The San Diego City College Foundation/City Works Press” and an SASE for a reply to:

This is a cross-genre competition that will reward the best writing. Winners will have a 500-1000 copy run of their work published in 2008 and be honored at a public reading at City College. Runners-up will be considered for future publication.
