Accepting submissions for food anthology.

Send us work that pushes the boundaries:  consider food as metaphor, memory, culture, ritual, and sustainer.  Recipes, yes. Explore thirst.  Drinking.  Thirsting.  Investigate hunger, politics, power, poverty, and addiction.

Ben Reitman Award

Want to have your voice heard in San Diego? If you are an emerging writer who has not yet published a volume of poetry, fiction, or non-fiction of up to 200 pages with a commercial or non-profit press, please submit 3-5 poems, a story or sample chapter of 20 pages or less with a check for $25 made out to “The San Diego City College Foundation/City Works Press” and an SASE for a reply to:
